Welcome to Stockholms New Sensual Hub. A warm and intimate space for the sensual arts Located on Mariatorget , we open our doors this Spring 2026 to practitioners working with shibari, embodiment, movement, ritual, sound, and other body-based practices. The space is available for rent to teachers and facilitators who value esthetics, presence, safety, and depth. This is a room designed for people who care about how a space feels, not just how it functions. The Space Itself The studio is equipped with five ceiling-mounted suspension points, allowing up to five pairs to work simultaneously when using the rigging points. The points are evenly placed and suitable for both structured classes and open practice sessions. For grounded, floor-based practices without yoga mats, the entire floor can be covered with four large, thick mattresses, creating a soft, warm, and supportive surface. This setup is ideal for floor work, slow somatic exploration, partner practices, and any session where comfort, containment, and a sense of ease in the body matter. Think cozy, held, and deeply embodied rather than hard studio floors. For seated workshops or more conversational formats, the space works well for up to 16 people. Sound & Atmosphere The studio has a surround sound system with four speakers and a powerful bass box, making music and sound feel immersive and physical rather than just background. A gong and a large ceremonial singing bowl is also available for sound journeys, ritual openings and closings, or nervous-system-oriented work.
